Religious Education
Believing that faith formation is a life-long process of learning rooted in the celebration of the Sunday Mass, the Religious Education Program provides classroom instruction for children in grades 1 through 10 after Sunday Mass. The following is a description of the varying components:
Grades 1-8:
9 am Mass. Following Mass, all students go to grade level classroom for instruction until dismissal at 11:30 am. The children use the Sadlier Publishing Program called "We Believe."
Grades 9-10: Confirmation Preparation
11 am Mass. Following Mass, all students go to the cafeteria of the school where they will proceed with teachers to classroom for instruction until dismissal at 1:30 pm.
Confirmation will be on May 12, 2012, at 1:00 pm with Bishop Edyvean.
Grade 2: Sacramental Preparation
There will be a parent meeting on March 4, 2012, from 10:15-11:30 am for Parents of those receiving First Penance/Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
First Communion will be celebrated on May 6, 2012, at the 9:00 am and 11:00 am Masses.
